Thanks to Loring Banks Designs, True BBQ delivers a Chicago modern twist on the traditional BBQ themes of the 20th Century, thus bringing the BBQ experience to a whole new level with the addition of unique chandeliers, velvet drapery, leather banquettes, large tables and eccentric colors.
True BBQ and Whiskey Bar offers what we like to call, "A Modern BBQ Experience." What distinguishes True from traditional BBQ establishments is the manner in which we prepare and serve our products. All of our meats are the highest quality, and we use our own homemade rubs, while serving our house made sauces on the side, as opposed to on the meat itself. In addition, we offer non BBQ menu selections, such as Filet Mignon and Ahi Tuna, as well as both Vegan and Gluten Free selections. Like desserts? True offers a decadent selection with items such as Caramel Bourbon Mascarpone Napoleon, Flourless Chocolate Cake, Pecan Pie and more! Led by chef Adam Brown, our menu is "truly" in a league of its own.
The Whiskey Bar
Coupled with True BBQ is our Whiskey Bar, which is focused more on serving crafted cocktails and premium whiskeys. With over 90 premium whiskeys, 20 fine wines and a superior crafted cocktail and beer selection, our goal is to cater to the educated bar patron, while at the same time, spreading our knowledge to the average connoisseur. When it comes to both BBQ and our Whiskey Bar, our staff has been extensively trained by our chefs, managers and reps in order to provide a "truly" memorable experience.
